While in beta, Toast Don’t Wait to Pay will be turned on by Toast and is not configurable in Toast Web.

Don’t Wait to Pay is a paperless and QR codeless experience initiated by the guest, who asks their server for their table number or check number to connect to the check. After connecting to the check, the guest's payment experience is very similar to the receipt QR code payment experience.
Guests using Don’t Wait to Pay will be presented with the tip options that you have configured in Toast Web within . They can then choose to tip whatever they would like.
For quick orders and server split checks, it is recommended that guests be given the check number to help them locate the check, which is also available on the printed receipt.
Guest-led split checks are currently not supported with Don’t Wait to Pay.
Yes. You will collect menu item reviews as you do with Toast Pay via receipt QR codes with Don’t Wait to Pay. For more information, see .
Currently, only iOS is supported for Don’t Wait to Pay. Android users can still pay digitally using the receipt QR code if they have that enabled in their in Toast Web.
Apple Pay, saved cards, keyed credit cards, loyalty rewards, and Toast Cash are supported with Don’t Wait to Pay.
During the promotional period only, Toast will reimburse you for the cost of any Don’t Wait to Pay associated chargebacks or walkouts incurred. Information on reporting chargebacks and walkouts can be found .
If a guest does not see the option to use Don’t Wait to Pay, ensure that the location where the guest has entered an address is their “Current Location” or that they have manually entered a nearby address.
When previewing the check and items included for a Don’t Wait to Pay transaction, if the guest notices they have the wrong check, they can go back by selecting This is not my check.
Yes, they can connect to the same check with Don’t Wait to Pay. However, only one guest will be able to pay. More details can be found in the section, including *.

Transactions using Don’t Wait to Pay are charged at your restaurant’s card-not-present (CNP) credit card processing rate. During the Promo Period only, Toast will reimburse your restaurant for the difference between CNP and card-present credit card processing rates solely for transactions using Don’t Wait to Pay, as determined by Toast in its sole discretion (Credit Card Rate Reimbursement). During the Promo Period only, Toast will reimburse your restaurant for chargebacks and walkouts associated with Don’t Wait to Pay transactions, and such chargebacks and walkouts must be reported using the form provided verified by Toast in its sole discretion (Chargeback Reimbursement). You will receive applicable Card Card Rate Reimbursement and Chargeback Reimbursement via ACH on your restaurant's monthly Credit Card Processing Statement at the end of the applicable month.
