Learn how to adjust your cash discount percentage, disable Dual Pricing, and understand what happens if you want to switch pricing models or products.

The cash discount defaults to 4%, but you can change it at any time on the Dual Pricing page in Toast Web. Navigate to Finance > Settings > Dual Pricing in Toast Web to adjust the percentage.
Note: Toast Customer Support is not able to adjust the discount percentage on your behalf. As a Toast customer, you will need to do it on your own. You'll need the following permissions to access this setting: 6.3 Payments Setup and 8.1 Financial Accounts.
You can disable Dual Pricing at any time by toggling the setting off on the Dual Pricing page in Toast Web. Navigate to Finance > Settings > Dual Pricing in Toast Web to toggle it off (or on).
| Disabling Dual Pricing does not affect your card processing rates or pricing model—it only turns off the automatic cash discount and dual-total display. |
The Cash Discount appears as a standard discount across your existing sales reports (Sales Summary, Orders, Discounts Report, etc.)—no new reports are introduced.
Note: On your merchant card processing statement, Toast may include an estimate of incremental revenue you may have generated using the Dual Pricing product during the applicable period based on the assumption that you increased your listed prices by 4%. If your location is subject to a Monthly Minimum Processing Fee, the processing statement will also indicate the dollar amount assessed if you failed to meet the minimum that month.
Disabling Dual Pricing by using the toggle in Toast Web does not change your underlying pricing model or card processing rates—those stay in place. If you'd like to move off your current pricing model entirely, or switch to Credit Card Surcharging, contact Toast Customer Care to discuss your options. This can't be done directly in Toast Web and requires Toast to process the change on your account.
