Change the Date on a Future Order

To update the date on a future or scheduled order on the Toast POS, follow the steps below:

1. On the Toast POS, navigate to Mode > Pending Orders. 
2. Locate the order and select Reschedule to update the date on the order.

Permissions: To reschedule an order, you need the 1.5 Pending Orders Mode permission. For more information, see Get Help With Pending Orders Mode.

Notes:

• You can only choose a date up to the number set in the Max days in future to schedule orders setting (Front of house > Order screen setup > UI options > POS Scheduling Settings).
• If Strict Mode is enabled and the order's items have already been fired to the kitchen, you can't reschedule it from Pending Orders. Instead, ring in a new order for the correct date, then adjust the payment from the original order onto the new check and void the original. See Get Help With Pending Orders Mode for the full steps.
