Get Started With the Stream Integration

Stream is an online ordering and delivery aggregator integration.

Stream provides a read/write online ordering and delivery aggregator integration for Toast customers looking to manage all off-premises orders from a single dashboard. Leveraging Toast’s menus, orders, configuration, and restaurant information, Stream allows both first and third-party online order aggregation, multi-channel and multi-unit menu management, and the ability also to host ghost kitchens.

Enabling Stream With Toast

  1. To enable Stream with Toast, log in into Toast Web and navigate to the Integrations section using the left-hand navigation menu. Then, select Integrations management > Browse & purchase integrations.
  2. Enter Stream in the Search field and select Add Now. 
    1. Note: Your restaurant must have access to Toast Partner Integrations to add this integration. To learn more, see Set Up Toast Partner Integrations.
  3. Review the data scope visibility terms and conditions and select Confirm to accept. See the Data Scope Visibility article for more information.
  4. After adding the tile in the Toast Partner Integrations portal, Stream’s support and onboarding team will contact you direct via phone or email. Toast also recommends contacting the partner after adding the tile in integration portal to confirm the partner received notice that the integration has been added to your location(s). Stream Integration Configuration 

As part of the self-setup process with Stream, you must copy your Merchant ID from Stream and enter it into the Group ID field in the Settings of your Stream tile. The next steps can be found on this external link on Stream's website. 

For the required Other Payment Option, follow and work directly with Stream to set this up according to Steams’s needed specifications. You must turn Manager approval Off for your Stream Other Payment Option(s). See Set Up Other Payment Options in Support Center for more information. 


Toast also recommends setting up specific revenue centers for easy and discrete data and reporting. If you want to set this up, see Create and Assign Revenue Centers in Support Center.
