Toast is equipped to operate in limited capacity without an internet connection. In the event your business is operational but without power or Wi-Fi, here’s how to use Toast during a local network outage.
Alternatively, you may be able to connect your Toast devices to a personal hotspot and process orders. A personal hotspot will enable you to take and process orders, but note that you will not be able to print receipts or kitchen tickets. Here’s how to use Toast devices on a hotspot.

Toast Fundraising enables you to ask guests to round up to a whole number on a check or contribute a flat donation to an eligible charitable cause. Fundraising campaigns can be displayed on Online Ordering, Local by Toast app, Guest-facing display, and digital receipts. In the wake of a disaster, you can set up Toast Fundraising to start collecting donations for your community. Check out to learn how. Toast.org partners with World Central Kitchen, and supports a number of organizations that provide crisis support to restaurant operators and workers such as Giving Kitchen.
