Learn how to print a shift review.

What you'll accomplish: Print a shift review or check-out report from the POS terminal for the current shift or a previous day within your current business week.
Note: Shift reviews print from the POS terminal, not from Toast Web. The print option becomes available after the shift is closed.
Servers can print their shift review before fully clocking out, at the end of the shift review process.
When you reach the final step of shift review, select the printer icon next to the Clock out & start new shift button. Choose the printer you want to use if more than one is available, then confirm.
You should see the shift review report print from the selected printer.
Note: If you have already clocked out, you can still print the shift review for the current business week by following the steps in the next section.
You can print a shift review from an earlier day as long as it falls within your current business week. For example, if your business week ends on a Sunday and today is Wednesday, you can access the shift reviews for Tuesday and Monday, but not the prior Sunday. Shift reviews from weeks or months ago are not available on the POS.
You should see the selected day's shift review report print from the chosen printer.
Managers can view and print shift reviews for different employees from the POS.
You should see the selected employee's shift review report print from the chosen printer.
Note: Shifts created in Toast Web instead of on the POS will not appear in the Review Employee Shifts function on your POS.
Shift reviews on the POS can only be accessed for the current business week. If you need a shift review from a prior week, contact Toast Customer Care. Customer Care can temporarily adjust your business start-of-week to allow access to shift reviews within the past seven days.

To print a check-out report for a server, print the shift review from the POS terminal. The shift review is the check-out report — it summarizes the server's sales, tips, and any cash to turn in or collect. The server can print it at the final step of shift review by selecting the printer icon, or a manager can print it from Manager Activities > Review Employee Shifts.

Yes, you can print a shift review after you have clocked out, as long as the shift is within your current business week. Navigate to My Account > Shift Review, select the overflow menu icon, select Other shifts, choose the shift, then select the overflow menu icon and Print shift review.

To print a shift review from yesterday or a previous day, navigate to My Account > Shift Review on the POS, select the overflow menu icon, and select Other shifts. Choose the day you want, select Okay, then select the overflow menu icon and Print shift review. This works only for days within your current business week.

You cannot find a shift review on the POS that shows in Toast Web when the shift was created in Toast Web rather than on the POS, or when it falls outside your current business week. Shifts created in Toast Web do not appear in the Review Employee Shifts function on the POS.
