Toast works with several gift card or loyalty partners that you can use through an integration with your restaurant. In order to set up and establish these integrations, you'll need to first work directly with your gift card or loyalty partner.
Prior to initiating these integrations, first confirm that:
There are a few things to keep in mind when using gift card or loyalty integrations.
If you are transitioning from the Toast Gift Card program to a gift card integration provider, your gift card data from Toast needs to be imported into your new gift card provider's database. This involves downloading the Gift Card Balances and Inactive Gift Cards reports from Toast Web.

If the transition to your new provider has already taken place in Toast and you require the gift card files for your integration partner, a temporary switch back to the Toast Gift Card module is necessary to download the files. Please contact Toast Support if you need to switch back to Toast Gift Cards to obtain these files.
You can export your gift card files, including Gift Card Balances and Inactive Gift Cards, by following these steps:
If you are transitioning from the Toast Loyalty to a loyalty integration provider, your loyalty data from Toast needs to be imported into your new loyalty provider's database. This involves downloading the Rewards Cards report from Toast Web.

To set up a gift card or loyalty integration:
Gift card integration changes (toggling on/off) require the Payments Setup permission on the gift/rewards group level.
After a gift card integration is enabled, it can be disabled at any time on the Gift Card Setup page. Remember that disabling the integration is a group-level change, meaning that this change will turn off the integration for all locations in the gift card group.
Make sure to save and publish the change at all locations in the gift card or loyalty group as soon as you disable the integration setting. Use Publish Config to easily publish across all locations. Changing the setting will stop transmission of data to your gift card or loyalty partner, and publishing the change at each location will remove the “Gift Card” button on your POS screen. Don't forget this step!

If you're ready for the partner integration and gift card button to be visible and active again, please follow these steps. Remember that enabling the integration is a group-level change, meaning that this change will turn on the integration for all locations in the gift card group.
Note: Saving and publishing your changes will make the gift card button visible for your restaurant. If you have multiple locations in a gift card or loyalty group, the button will be visible after each location publishes changes.

| Toast can troubleshoot the connection between your Toast account and your 3rd Party provider, however we do not have access to troubleshoot anything specific to your 3rd Party account. You must contact your 3rd Party provider for any troubleshooting concerns. |
If you experience the following issues or error codes, please follow the steps below to resolve.

If the integration works when keying in the card but will not work when swiping, please contact Toast Customer Care to troubleshoot your card reader.
If you have multiple locations that share Loyalty, another user may be making changes to the module. You may also have a closed location causing this issue. Start a chat with Customer Care to help resolve.
