Toast Payroll: Pay Change Did Not Sync To Toast Web

Why is a pay change in Toast Payroll not being reflected in Toast Web?

When an employee's pay rate is updated in Toast Payroll, this rate is sent over to Toast Web as the Wage Override for the assigned job. Keep in mind that without selecting Sync to POS on an employee's Toast Payroll profile, it may take up to an hour for Toast Payroll to sync to Toast Web.

The most common reason a rate does not get updated in Toast Web is due to duplicate jobs. If an employee has multiples of the same job (matching location and job levels), even if the rate for both jobs is the same in Toast Payroll, it will cause an error when we attempt to update the rates in Toast Web. As a result, the rates in Toast Payroll and Toast Web will not match.
