Create Promotions in Toast Loyalty

Create Toast Loyalty promotions in the Reward Builder to reward guests on set days, times, dining options, birthdays, or at sign-up.

What you'll accomplish: Create and publish a Toast Loyalty promotion that runs automatically for your guests.

Create a Promotion

  1. Log in to Toast Web.
  2. Navigate to Toast Web > Marketing > Loyalty > Loyalty rewards.
  3. In the Promotions section, select Add promotion.
  4. Select the promotion type: Sign up, Birthday, Day & time, or Dining.
  5. Under Condition, set when the promotion applies. See Promotion Types below.
  6. Under Guests receive, choose what guests get.
  7. Select Save.
  8. Select Publish loyalty changes.

 

Expected outcome: The promotion appears in the Promotions table with its type, condition, what guests receive, dates, and status. Once published, it runs on its own.

 

Note: You can have up to five promotions. Publishing sends your changes to every location in your group, so you need permission to publish for all of those locations.

Promotion Types

Sign up

A Sign up promotion rewards guests when they join your Toast Loyalty program.

 

Birthday

A Birthday promotion can be a free item, a dollar amount off, or a percentage off. To learn how guests redeem it, see Manage Birthday Rewards.

 

Day & time

A Day & time promotion applies on the days of the week and the time range you choose.

 

Dining

A Dining promotion applies to the dining options you choose, such as online ordering, takeout, or delivery.
