The Flex for Guest Wedge does not work with the Flex 3 terminal.

Can a Flex Power Supply be connected to a Flex 3 Terminal?

The 100W Power Supply for Flex 14" and Toast Printer (TP200) should not be used with the Flex 3 Terminal.

Can the Flex Power Cable connect my Printing Hub to a Flex 3 Terminal?

The Flex Power Cable can connect the Toast Printing Hub (TP300) to a Flex 3 Terminal and provides the following:

    • Power to the Terminal
    • Internet over USB to the Terminal
    • Printing over USB
    • Hub Networking using the USB ports on the back of the Printing Hub

Can a Flex 3 Terminal be used with the TP200 Receipt Printer?

Printing over the network with TP200 will work with a Flex 3 terminal; however, connecting over USB-C between TP200 and a Flex 3 terminal will not.

If you have a TP200 printer and a Flex 3 terminal, it's recommended that you:

    • Set up TP200 independently of the terminal using its own power supply and network cable
    • Set up a Flex 3 terminal independent of TP200 with its own power supply and network cable

With this setup, your Flex 3 terminal can discover and connect to the TP200 printer like your previous terminal.

Note: If you have USB-A peripherals, scanners/scales, or card readers plugged into your TP200, you'll need to do one of these options:

    • Unplug the USB peripheral from TP200 and plug it into your Flex 3 terminal Guest Display. (There's a spare USB-A port under the base.)
    • If you have a Toast Tap® OC with USB-A and you don't have a Guest Display, you can plug the USB-C cable into the Terminal base port marked ‘Peripheral’.
    • If you have several USB-A peripherals, scanners/scales, a USB hub is recommended. The USB hub should plug into the Flex 3 terminal Peripheral port. A list of Toast-tested hubs can be found here.
