Understand Toast Charge Codes on Bank Statements

A charge code is an identifier (typically a word or abbreviation of words) that links a charge to a particular line item or fee. These codes will appear on your bank account statements.
 

Charge codes are determined by each bank, so while we can use this resource to help give some insight as to what the charge code could represent, there may be variations that differ from or are not covered by the table below. We recommend reaching out to your bank for additional details on bank-specific charge codes.

If you find a charge or an unspecified amount on your bank account statement and want to match it to a charge code, you can search your invoices and filter to the date of the invoice. Select the Invoices tab inside the Finance report, or type “Invoices” from Toast Web search bar. You can also access this by navigating to  > Toast Account > Billing > Billing & Invoicing. Then use the Custom Date filter to match the date of the invoice you’re investigating.
