How can I have tips collected for online orders go to the restaurant instead of the server who closes the check?
Tips collected through Toast Online Ordering can be distributed to the restaurant through a shared user. To set this up, we recommend creating a new employee user account called Online Order Server and setting this profile as the default server under the Online Order Server settings. Then, all tips associated with online orders can be collected by the restaurant during the shift review process.
