There are two ways to handle tips with Toast Mobile Order & Pay®.

In order for the menu information to be visible on O&P, make sure that the visibility is checked off for "Order & Pay" (or "Kiosk and Order & Pay" if you have both a Kiosk and Toast Mobile Order & Pay® subscription).

The best way to identify sales from Toast Mobile Order &Pay® is to filter the Sales Summary by Source: Order & Pay, and Dining Option: Dine-in (as well as the dates/times/employees needed for the report.
Visit the Previous Checks view of the POS from quick order mode or the table layout. Select the three dots in the top right corner and choose "Show all checks". By default, for many users, only the checks they created are shown.
If tabs are enabled, servers will see separate guest payments as separate checks rather than one combined tab.
Upsell items are not currently available for Toast Mobile Order & Pay®, but the team is working hard on creating a feature coming soon! In the meantime, suggest creating a new menu or menu group called "Suggested items" to highlight the items you'd like guests to see, or creating upsell modifiers for guests to choose after selecting an item.

Yes! Toast's digital menus feature (previously called Menu & Pay) will work for this. This allows restaurants to provide a QR code which guests can use to both browse the menu and pay for their bill at the end of their meal, while still placing their order through the server.

This error message appears when a table's name contains a special character such as an ampersand (&). Ensure that your table name does not contain special characters. To resolve this, you must rename your table and re-configure and generate a new QR code. Learn more here: .
To resolve this error message, we recommend that you check to see if you have at least one dining option marked as Dine in. To do so, navigate to Kitchen > Dining options > Dining options in Toast Web. Check out the Configure Custom Dining Options section of this Support Center article to learn more, .
Publishing a menu update is required to get the logo to flow through properly. To do this, Save and Publish from the Advanced Properties page.
Visit the Toast Mobile Order & Pay® page in the Toast backend. You can use the sign generation tool there to create a new sign! You will be able to select the service area that it's in and select to only get a sign for that table. Review to learn how to configure QR codes for tables.
The keyed-in rate is the keyed rate you negotiated with Toast when you signed up.

When table modifications occur, QR codes may become disconnected from their original data sources. In such cases, these affected QR codes need to be regenerated to restore their proper functionality and maintain data integrity.
