There is no specific report for employers to see which employees have signed up for Toast Pay Card and PayOut. There is only a report to see which employees have selected Toast Pay Card as their . In Toast Payroll, navigate to Reports > Standard. Run the Direct Deposit Report to see which employees have set the Toast Pay Card as their payment method using Toast Payroll.
When an employee has activated their Toast Pay Card, column F in this report (labeled Bank) will display "Toast Pay" and column L (labeled Account Type) will display "Paycard". Keep in mind this report will not show any individuals whose payment method is to receive paper checks.
Once the Toast Pay Card has been from the MyToast app, it typically takes 8-10 business days to arrive. From time to time, shipping delays may occur, but if you suspect the card is taking longer than it should, reach out to for more details.

Employers have the option to customize settings for Toast PayOuts. The default setting is to offer Toast PayOuts that are limited to a portion of wages and tips to help account for estimated taxes, withholdings, and deductions. Employers can limit access to Toast PayOuts for tips and/or wages or offer Toast PayOuts for tips that are not adjusted for estimated tax withholdings and deductions. To update your settings, log into Toast Payroll, navigate to Settings > Pay Card and follow the instructions on the page.
Employee PayOuts are disabled if the payroll is in one of the statuses mentioned above. In order to correct this, the primary contact for the account should follow the instructions in the email coinciding with the Prohibited or On Hold payroll.

Timesheet adjustments are accounted for in subsequent Toast PayOut offers during the same period. Remember to inform your employees of any adjustments as it will affect their subsequent Toast PayOut offers. Examples of time correction scenarios could include employees who clock in/out early or late or forget to clock in for their shift.
For example, an employee works 5 hours, earns $20/hr, and takes out a Toast PayOut offer of $100 (for example purposes, assuming no taxes or withholdings). You later see that the employee clocked out late and was overpaid by an hour, so you edit their timesheet to 4 hours. The employee works 5 hours (at $20/hr) in their next shift and instead of receiving a Toast PayOut offer of $100, is only offered $80 to account for overpay from the previous Toast PayOut.
In the unlikely event that your employee's paycheck cannot cover the amount of the Toast PayOuts that they have taken, Toast will still collect the amount from you on payday to apply toward your Toast PayOut line of credit balance. You are then free to collect reimbursement from your employee, subject to applicable laws. Learn how to add a for purposes of reimbursement. Tips can be paid on the Toast Pay Card as though employees were receiving them in case on the day earned. Wages will be paid through a wage advance that you provide to your employees and will be recouped on payday through wage deduction. Each time an employee requests a Toast PayOut for wages in the MyToast app, Toast will collect a Wage Deduction Authorization from that employee on your behalf.

Toast Pay Card is also free for your employees; however, third-party ATM operators may charge a fee unless the cardholder uses an ATM within the MoneyPass® Network, and third-party financial institutions may charge a fee for over-the-counter withdrawals unless the institution is a Mastercard member bank.
We currently don't offer the capability for an employee to split their paycheck between their Toast Pay Card and direct deposit or paper check. All wages and non-cash tips will be paid via the employee's selected method of receiving payroll funds.

There, select a hyperlinked pay period to view the Toast PayOut line items broken out by shift, which indicate acceptance of a Toast PayOut by the employee.

Once we turn off the product for your restaurant, your employees will stop receiving Toast PayOut offers if you had offered them previously, and new employees will not be able to sign up for new Pay Cards. Ask your employees to change their selected from Toast Pay Card to check or direct deposit as soon as you've sent us a request to stop offering access to the program. Your employees will continue to receive their pay on their Toast Pay Cards on payday until they update their payment method. There may be instances where Toast may terminate the agreement(s) you executed at the time of your program onboarding. See your agreement(s) for details. For example, in the event you fail to fully fund a payroll cycle for Toast Pay Card or Toast PayOuts, and fail to cure this default, then the line of credit associated with the Toast PayOut program may be suspended or terminated. In this case, you must inform your employees so they are aware that either Toast PayOuts or the Toast Pay Card and PayOut program will no longer be available to them, and their wages might be otherwise impacted. For example, if the Pay Card and Toast PayOut program is formally terminated, employees will need to switch their back to direct deposit or paper check.
